What is the most effective Solution for Configuring D365 Finance for Financial Consolidations and Eliminations?

I think the most effective way is Management reporter for consolidation of GL and budget. But if your requirement is more than gl, like consolidate customer transactions, vendor transactions, inventory etc., then I will recommend a more dynamic reporting tool such as power bi. Of course consolidation module in d365 is another solution but I don't prefer it.

There are two approaches:
1. Using consolidation module by creating consolidated legal entity in which you have to perform consolidation and elimination process

2. Create consolidation report using management reporter
