Now, let me ask my question that is I just have downloaded from the following URL and import very successfully in dynamics 2013, at it also allows to work for dynamics CRM 2013.

I founded the button as well for making change in the ribbon. But I unable to find the solutions, as it prompted while clicking on the button.

URL: http://www.develop1.net/public/page/Ribbon-Workbench-for-Dynamics-CRM-2011.aspx

and here I've the following image where the solutions are not displaying. I'll be thankful to all of the community if they guide me where I've missed something.

Thank You.

Hi,

The ribbon workbench will show you all the unmanaged solutions you have defined. In your case, you don't have any solutions.

To enable editing of a ribbon/command bar on an entity first create a solution and add an entity to it. You will then see that solution available for loading into the ribbon workbench.

See ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../71374-1-getting-started-with-the-ribbon-workbench

hth,

Scott

I have 6 unmanaged solutions, Ribbon Workbench will only show 2 solution. 1 out of the 6 and one solution that has been deleted already.

Weird

Hi Paulo,

Would you mind posting a screen shot.

However, which Browser are you using for your Ribbon Workbench customization, also have you tried with other Browsers as well, like Firefox Mozilla apart from IE.

Thanks

Same behavior in all browser, it was working until yesterday.

One other thing, in works in another org.

I can't post screenshots, my client might not be happy about it. But trust me, I have 6 unmanaged solutions, just one shows, plus a solution that has been removed.

I already tried to uninstall and install the workbench

thanks

It sounds like the Ribbon Workbench is pointing at a different org - do you have another org that shows the solutions you are seeing?

Try opening the Ribbon Workbench from within the Ribbon Workbench solution it's self rather than clicking on the button in the solutions command bar.

I am not sure I know what you mean, sorry :(

Yes, there is another Org with the two solutions been displayed in the workbench

Hi,

Can you check that it is not the other org that is being shown in the Ribbon Workbench? ?Try opening the Ribbon Workbench by double clicking on the Ribbon Workbench solution rather than using the icon button.

Thanks,

Scott

Weird, I got this one as well. Now in Dynamics CRM 365 on-premise (8.2) So I installed both the solution into the dev org and tried using the XrmToolBox, all list 0 solutions. So then I picked up fiddler to check the queries for the Ribbon Workbench 2016 (3.1.86.1) Solution.

It looks like the query is returning 13 solutions and if I try the query in the FechXML Builder the query there results in 13 solutions returned as well.

<fetch version="1.0" count="1000" no-lock="true" returntotalrecordcount="true" page="1" >
<entity name="solution" >
<attribute name="friendlyname" />
<attribute name="uniquename" />
<attribute name="solutionid" />
<attribute name="version" />
<order attribute="uniquename" descending="false" />
<link-entity name="publisher" to="publisherid" from="publisherid" link-type="inner" alias="publisher" >
<attribute name="customizationprefix" />
</link-entity>
<filter type="and" >
<condition attribute="isvisible" operator="eq" value="true" />
<condition attribute="ismanaged" operator="eq" value="false" />
<condition attribute="uniquename" operator="ne" value="Default" />
</filter>
</entity>
</fetch>

Response:

<s:Envelope xmlns:s="schemas.xmlsoap.org/.../envelope">
<s:Body>
<RetrieveMultipleResponse xmlns="schemas.microsoft.com/.../Services">
<RetrieveMultipleResult xmlns:a="schemas.microsoft.com/.../Contracts" xmlns:i="www.w3.org/.../XMLSchema-instance">
<a:Entities>
<removed-value>removed-value</removed-value>
</a:Entities>
<a:EntityName>solution</a:EntityName>
<a:MinActiveRowVersion>-1</a:MinActiveRowVersion>
<a:MoreRecords>false</a:MoreRecords>
<a:PagingCookie><cookie page="1"><uniquename last="removed-value" first="removed-value" /><solutionid last="removed-value" first="removed-value" /></cookie></a:PagingCookie>
<a:TotalRecordCount>-1</a:TotalRecordCount>
<a:TotalRecordCountLimitExceeded>false</a:TotalRecordCountLimitExceeded>
</RetrieveMultipleResult>
</RetrieveMultipleResponse>
</s:Body>
</s:Envelope>

Is it a problem that the query returns this as well? <a:TotalRecordCount>-1</a:TotalRecordCount> even when it returns 13 in the collection?

Regards Markus

For me, I found that the customer had changed a Org DB Org Setting using this:

support.microsoft.com/.../orgdborgsettings-tool-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm setting SkipGettingRecordCountForPaging back to False helped
