Dear All,
I am facing a case where I am inserting my vendors through DMF ,however the DMF is Inserting the Vendor as person, where i want to insert them as Organization.
Anybody has faced such problem.
Appreciate Your Help.

There's a field called PartyType in Vendor entity. Did you provide any value to it? By default the system generates a Person, unless otherwise stated in the PartyType field.

Yes I tried to change the PartyType also and put it as Organization but still Same Behavior,
My AX Version is Still 6.3.164 which is the First AX2012R3. does this Affect, it might be a bug?

Can you provide information how you included the value as part of your source file? Can you also check the source to staging mapping if the field is mapped correctly?

In addition to what André and Nikolaos already mentioned; could you kindly check if any option like VendorPartyType is available in AX 2012 other than PartyType? Anyway.. I believe both are same.
I have checked in D365 and we have this available in Vendors V2 entity in Data management which we can use to upload vendor master data with type as 'Organization'.

Please take time to click 'Yes' against the answers that help you guide in right direction to help other community members.
Can you check which value is inserted in the staging table? Is it 'Organization'? Or something else? What language are you using in your environment? If it is 'en-gb', then try to use 'Organisation' (with 's'). It looks like the type should match the local language.

Yes i know that in D365 VendorV2 works perfect. but here i dont know what is the Problem, I searched for VendorPartType field which is Similar to D365 but there is no such field.
Most probably it is Cumulative Update issue, i am updating the environment into latest CU and will let you know if this will solve my problem.

It is Inserting Organization. and I am using En-US language.
