Does anybody know how security in Atlas work? How does ax security impact data access level in Atlas?

Honestly speaking Atlas is 3rd party add-on. I don't think of many people knowing this publicly.
I wish you good luck for getting any information about this. Meanwhile, please allow me to suggest you to connect with your Atlas provider/vendor.
Thanks Sohaib. This is odd... in a sense that when I assign security admin role to a user in AX they are able to access data for all tables/query in atlas. This lead me to question security role for non-system admin user and their access level.

Please contact your Atlas reseller or Globe Software. Globe Software is the creator of this add-on.
Atlas connects via the Business Connector to AOS. In terms of what data Atlas can access in AX, the security roles as defined in AX apply. However, the security within Atlas is limited as you're dependent on what Excel offers you. There are also only two levels of users. Those who can work with existing spreadsheets and those who can create new spreadsheets and modify the existing ones.
