AOS Clustering Best Practice

Hi all,

I have a question about AX2009 , AOS clustering, that when we are installing AOS services in more than 1 server it is good to have Shared  AOD or it is good to have one AOD per One Physical Server ? what is the best practice?.

    There is no such recommendation of sharing anything in the official documentation related to AX AOS deployments, so the correct answer is: no, do not do that. AX AOSes are locking files for themselves, and if you share anything between them that relates to execution, it will cause issues for the other instances.

    Hi Amith

    If I remember correctly, you can't have different Application Folder.

    So, you must have a unique shared folder for all AOSs.
