I need to void a deposit Posted incorrectly. I have a Deposit number but when I try to enter to void the deposit it cannot find the Deposit Number. How can I void a posted Deposit in Bank the bank?

In my experience, the only reasons a deposit would not show up when trying to void it are:

1. It has already been reconciled.

2. It's checked to be reconciled on an open (saved) bank reconciliation.

Please check your saved bank reconciliation, I suspect you will find it there.

I did that but eh Deposit number does not show up there and I can not select or enter it.

I suppose we are talking about a reconciled bank deposit with receipt , right ?

If so, check the steps provided on tide stones solutions blogs How to “fix” a Bank Deposit that Can’t be Voided in GP

If you want to void a Deposit , open the Bank Deposit Entry window with choosing the option void then enter the deposit number and void the same.
