I was working with a client today who was using the Sales Transactions navigation list to look at all Sales \ Invoices for a selected customer for a selected period. This loaded 30 transactions. We did a select all and then print documents. Only the open documents would print. We wanted to print all the documents in the list.
Any ideas?

Rubal is correct, if there are a lot of SOP transactions, it will take a while for them all to download. Creating separate, saved, lists will help dramatically. Below is my blog posting from today that shows how to do this very thing (with a video included.)
I'm including my blog posting as well as it has a short video walking you through the steps. I like using the navigation list to print documents from Sales Order Processing. It allows me the ability to print multiple documents at the same time.

One possible reason is you need to remove the date range filter from the Restrictions Section on the top right corner (next to Reports and Go To section). By default, it has Last 90 days selected.
Even if you enter a date range filter (larger than last 90 days), it includes only transactions from last 90 days. To remove this filter select the custom date and check on the No Start Date and No End Date check boxes. Also make sure that you have selected include historic transactions option in restrictions
