Workflow Notifications

Using the out of the box workflows in BC.  Have turned on all of the email notification options in the workflow steps (send for approval, notify when approved, notify when rejected, etc...).
 
Approver user setups have proper emails and the notifications (new entry, approval, etc...) are set to instant.
 
The request for approval emails are working great but none of the approvals notifying approvals or rejections are being sent.
 
What am I missing?

    You can also check the Sent Emails Page. This will tell you if the emails are being sent by the workflow and there is no issue there. You can then check the Email Outbox Page. This way you can see if perhaps there is a problem with the email account or sending the emails. If you don't see the emails in either of those pages, then your workflow setup is incorrect and Yun Zhu provided a solution for that.

    As noted, all notification steps were activated (as Zhu noted below).
     
    Nothing in sent or outbox listings in BC.

    What's your notification method? Is it email or notes? In both the workflow notification setup page and in the approval user setup page for each user?
     
     
     
     
    Check the following pages as well, it will tell you if you're sending notes instead of emails for notifications; or if the system ran into any errors sending the email notification

    Hi,
    If you have setup Approval alerts via Email then try following the given method to send approval notification to the Senders.
     
    In Workflow Notification Setup
     
    Then Open the Workflow which is in use and select the Approval Response & Add one additional Response to it (given in the screenshot)
     
     
    Follow the same for Rejection Responses, and give it a try.
     
    Please do not forget to mark this answer verified if it works for you.

    this might be a bug of bc workflow. I've seen many cases where users don't get notification as setup. the only workaround is to add a response of sending email to a specific user if the request is approved or rejected. this will definitely work.
