Posted on by 2,010

For a custom SL, no results return because the following three errors appear:

GPS Error 58

SQL Error: 601 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] could not

continue scan with NOLOCK due to data movement.

ODBC Error 37000

Update: There are no reminders and the errors still appear when logged in as SA in the live company. It doesn't happen with the sa user id in a sample company.

    Hi Leslie,

I think this is due to data corruption in the dba, based on the second SQL error message.  The version/SP is SP2 of 2010.  After some digging, we've found that only specific fields set off this series of errors, so if any of these fields are used in the SL, the SL will error out with those three messages.  It is a SL under Inventory Trx's so we attempted a Check Links for IV Trxs, Item Master, BOMs and Receipts but no errors were found.  We don't know when this SL stopped working, but it did work at some point.

    RE: SmartList GPS error

    Hi,

I thought of some more questions. Is this happening for every user? Is the SmartList Favorite available to the System? Are any reminders set up that reference this SmartList. Has it ever worked?

When does the error present? If you delete all SmartList reminders, is the error still present? Do any users have Reminders based on Favorites that no longer exist?

If you log in as 'sa' for the sample company, do you still get the error? You'll need to import the SL into the sample company first.

Random ideas, maybe one of them will help.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

First, what version are you using and service pack (or build) are you running.

Next, where is te data you are trying to pull in to the SmartList. Are you using a data connection, a SQL table, a SQL view or a GP table.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
