Hello,

I want to link up Sales order ad purchase order so I can calculate profits.

I however have a challenge fetching the Purchase order amount which I want to transfer it to my sales header table as it is a flow field already (Amount Including VAT field).I had an option of having it as a lookup field from sales header but it cant work any workaround? I will appreciate very much

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Kiptoo,

not sure what you want to achieve but you can create two field one is lookup for PO No. from Purchase header And other one you can have a open PO Amount field after that you can write some code on Onvalidate on PO no. field so that it copy amount from purchase header amount field to PO amount.

apart from above customization we have another functionality Drop Shipment through which we can have a link of PO.

let me know if it’s full fill your requirement.

Hi, sorry I don't really understand your needs. But if you want to get the value from the FlowField, you can use the following method.

    CALCFIELDS Function (Record)

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/calcfields-function--record-

    SETAUTOCALCFIELDS Function (Record)

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/setautocalcfields-function--record-

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.
