Like the subject indicates, I'm trying to generate some sort of report/word-template that includes the attached images in the entitys notes, for multiple records at once.
For instance, 12 cases, each has 10 notes, all of which include an image of something important. If this was to be done on only 1 case I can simply generate a word-document from a template which is then downloaded and ready for viewing. This works splendidly. Only I need this functionality to be able to do the same (or a similar result) on multiple selected records. I dont want to be doing the same process 12 times, and ending up with 12 separate documents if I don't have to.
As the word-functionality isn't available when selecting more than 1 record, I tried achieving a similar result with reports, but as far as I understood, you cannot include the field which includes the attachments/images when generating a report (correct me if I'm wrong here). I also tried making a process that executed the word-template on marked records, but I could only get it to save the generated document as a new note in the marked records.
Ideally I would like a single word-document with all the cases marked in it, with all the attached images in the notes section.
Is what I want achievable? If so, how?
(If not, is there any way I can mark 12 records, and get 12 documents? Or possible a zip file or something like that?)
I'm using Dynamics 365 Online.
