Wrong qty on item "Assembly to order" when creating inventory put away/pick

When adding an item on a sales order that is an assembly item (assemble-to-order), and it is NOT possible to pick/deliver the entire item, the full quantities are still generated when creating a warehouse pick via the 'Create Inventory Put-away/pick' button. This subsequently causes issues for the person responsible for picking the order, as not all lines are complete and ready to be picked.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a solution that would allow the pick to be created with only the quantities that are actually possible to pick?

Example
  • 20 pcs of item X on a salesorder
  • Item X is /assemble-to-order/
  • Mounting order  is created automaticly with 20 pcs
  • Only 19pcs is possible to assemble
  • Inventory pick is created with 20 pcs
Why is the inventory pick created with 20 pcs ant not 19?
