United States Sales Tax In Business Central

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to US Sales Tax. So I would like to know few information about United States Sales Tax works in general.

1. How Sales Tax works?

2. How to configure it in Business Central? Should we compulsorily run Sales Tax Assisted setup? or can we configure it manually?

3. Is BC has any provision to file sales tax? If yes, how to file sales tax in Business Central and at what interval we need file sales tax?

    Basically you will have tax based on location (city , state , federal)

    Also you can look into this addon if you have complex tax in your system

    Adding to MahGah's answer, if you do a great deal of sales tax collections using an add-on like Avalara or Wolters-Kuhler can save you time and be very accurate. You don't have to worry about keeping abreast of changes, the services do that for you.
