Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone could tell me how much it costs to restart a service plan once it has lapsed for about 3 years? If I remember correctly, it costs a bit more.

We are looking to revamp our system, and I would like to get all the hot fixes, and especially the new feature pack.

That is correct. Plus last month they added a new wrinkle, one cannot have a Product Card re-issued if one has a lapsed Maintenance Plan.

Jeff can a customer that has n# of lanes but no MS maintenance plan buy more lanes? From my reading I got the impression that a MS maintenance plan is required to purchase more POS lanes.

Nathan,

Usually someone posts about it here.

There are 3 service plans @ 16%, 18% and 25% of the current MSRP which is 1190.00 per lane.so 190.40, 214.20 or 297.50.

How would I know when this happens? What is the cost during amnesty?

~ $870 per POS lane. You might want to wait for an amnesty that MS does every year or two.
