Did anyone figure out how to print Chinese characters in RMS. We have the printers starTSP100 and Epson TM88V setup to print Chinese characters in windows, which works works fine but do you get RMS to print the Chinese characters all we get is 0 instead of the Chinese  characters?

    to print Chinese:  Not possible from RMS because the following can not be accomplished.  

    The Epson TM-T88IV Multilingual requires that you convert the string into CodePage 936 and then represent that string in ISO-8859-1

    So I'm in the same case, so if I want to support inventory and receipt printing for RMS, it's not possible or do I need 3rd party plugin to do it?

    Hello Dan,

    Thank you for your question.

    RMS does not provide support for Chinese characters.

    There may be an add-in or 3rd party translation that can provide this functionality.

    I know Retail Realms has addons that support Arabic languages but not sure about Chinese or asian languages
