Im a developer and working in EFT processing using asp.net and c#. I am trying to find out if Dynamics GP can able to be utilize as the backend EFT processing to handle ACH/NACH/IAT files (parse the file and save it to the database) dynamically. Is there such an APIs or web services from Dynamics GP program that C# can invoke to trigger the processing of the EFT files?
Short Project Descripton:
I receive a daily ACH/IAT files feed daily from several financial institutions and I have a c# program to monitor when the files coming in and then parse the file and perform some auditing to the database and perform some workflow to notifiy and deliver some information to other application. Programming to parse several ACH/IAT format files are tedious. I also tried Integration Service to parse and audit the file but still I need to develop the parsing of the flat file.
I am wondering if Dynamics GP could be able to handle this easily and also to handle other "formats" in the future.
Please advice.
