Import data download template corrupt

When I'm in contacts and select Import data and download template for import I get an error message when excel opens:

Excel cannot open file 'Contact.xlsx because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and the file extension matches the format of the file.

The error message is entirely misleading.

1. Right-click the file

2. Select "Properties"

3. Check "Unblock"

4. Open

Yes, we have tried this on 4 different computers now. So, I'm not sure if it is our CRM that is sending a bad file.

I tried the Excel Viewer with the same results.

If you downloaded the template for data import, it should not have any problem.

Is it possible to try to open with Excel viewer?
