How do you adjust Job Times once posted (Production Order)

Hi all,

I am wondering how I can adjust the time someone has logged into a job and posted due to a clerical error.

Details of this are:

We had a production order that only took 2 hours. The person doing the job forgot to sign out of the job over the weekend and it continued to log all those hours. He then logged out of the job Monday morning, and AX auto posted the production as over 78 hours when it only took 2 hours.

I thought if I went to Production Control > Journals > Job Card and posted a negative value under the associated job it would be able to correct it, but AX will not let me post negative hours into a job.

I can simply do the math and adjust it with a General Journal entry, but this doesn't fix it, just slaps a bandaid on the real problem. This production report will claim 78+ hours still, I will have just adjusted.

Is there a better way to adjust these types of errors?
