"You need a valid license or entitlement to continue using your environment in Power Platform"

Hi all, I'm not a Dynamics user but I've recently taken over IT for a company who previously used Dynamics, it's not in use any longer though. I've had a few emails as per the below screenshot. It then has a link to this forum suggesting I ask for help if I need it - so here I am! Does anyone have any idea if this message is related to Dynamics? 'Power Platform' seems to relate to PowerApps or PowerAutomate which I am using.

Thanks all!

so your dynamics environment is also a power platform environment. Power Platform is the platform, common data service is the data platform, dynamics 365 (sales, customer service, etc) is simply microsoft first party apps running on Common data service. A dynamics 365 model driven app is a pwoer app. This message means that your subscription has expired and you aren't paying for a license anymore. So your environment will be removed if you don't have an active subscription.

Thanks Joel, that's very helpful. I have a few flows etc but have E5 licenses so they're all covered. I'll let this environment be removed then. Thanks for your help!

just be sure that before you let it expire that these flows aren’t running in an environment with a cds database. You can tell if it has cds if the name of the environment contains (org xxxxxx).

You can also use the following documentation about licensing questions for Power Platforms.
