How to void a miscellaneous check

Hi,

I had to recreate a check on the original date and want to void it on the current date (see my original post "Voided uncleared check - now bank rec out".  So I thought the easiest way to do this would be to use the 'miscellaneous check' funcation. 

However, now when I goto Void Historical Transaction and search for the 'dummy' check, it's not listed there for me to void.

How do I find the miscellaneous check to void it?

     HI Rita,

     

    Did you mark this check in the bank reconcile Screen?

     

    If yes so you will not be able to void it,

     

    if no so open bank transaction and select Void Transaction

    Hi again - I've figured it out.  I need to go to Transaction >> Financial >> Bank Transaction and select Void Transaction.

     exactly.

    miscellaneous check is consider as bank transaction with type check but from other screen to enable you print the computer check, so if you zoom to any miscellaneous Trx you will find it bank transaction with type check.
