Item Costing By Lot

Hi All

I know BC can be configured to cost items by serial number. Is there a way to calculate cost per Lot? Not sure what I'm missing or this functionality is not currently available

Samantha,

You are correct BC has a Costing Method called Specific that works very well for Serial Item costing. Lots can be reused and therefore Specific Costing is not possible, as a Method. You can see the unit cost on the FIFO layer of the Lot entry in the Value Entries.
