Hi All,

When setting up a deferral template - is there any way for it to create the deferral journals to be at the end of the month for each period?

I've tried a few variations now but it keeps generating the dates as at the beginning of each period. In order for me to have it posted at the end date of each period, I need to manually change them prior to posting. Hoping there is something I have missed.

Doesn’t the deferral template have a field called “Start Date”? That then has end of period as an option. I’m checking a newer version but I’m doubtful it is new to the feature

I tried all the options of start, beginning date, end date but the first period journal will be date of the journal & the remaining period journals seem to pick up the beginning date of each period.

Hello,

Are you trying to setup a Deferral Template that has a Starting Date of the End of Period or are you trying to create a Deferral Template that POSTS the Deferral at the End of the Period? I have tested and the latter does not seem to work. Not sure why and yes, seems like a bug.

Thanks mate - yes, trying to post the deferrals at the end of the period. Might have to go in manually. Thanks any way.
