Where can I find the Tip Allocation Register in Great Plains

Is there a tip allocation register in Great Plains?  Is there a process to calculate allocated tips?

I have recorded Gross Receipts for all pay checks in 2012 on a bi-weekly basis.  Does GP do the allocation calculation for me or will i have to run a Smartlist process the 8 % allocated amount?  Then how does the allocated tip amount make it to the W2?  Will I have to input that amount myself in Edit W2's?

lots of questions, hope someone has answers

    Reading your message, it looks like you may be trying to allocate historical information, rather than trying to set GP up so that it will do the calculation at the time of payroll. Is that right? If yes, then you will need to manually do the calculations for 2012. If you have recorded all of the information in the register, you should have the data you need.

    At this late date, you may want to just edit the W-2 forms to get the amount on the paper, but you'll need to circle back around to correct the individual employees records. Not to mention collect any payroll tax on the allocated tips.

    Do you have GP set up so that it will allocate tips for you going forward?
