What to do? Column Name in View is different from the customization (Company/Account Name)

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hey there,

I have an issue here and I'm not sure, what's going on:

I have there the column 'Company Name' in a view on the contact - and i dislike this, it should be Account Name. I use there the field parentcustomerid which is labeld with Account Name as you see here:

But in the view it is 'Company Name':

The properties say, this is the field parentcustomerid - which is labeld with 'Account Name'.

What's the problem here? I have also renamed the 1:N relationship on the Account to Contact. It was named 'Company Name', but now it's also 'Account Name' - but the issue is still there.

Thanks,

Hannes

Publish your customizations. It should change

When you changed the Field Display Name, did you do this by opening the field on a Form, or by opening the Entity and then the specific field?  Have you published all the customizations?  Have you also tried doing a hard refresh in your browser and/or clearing the cache to ensure it's not a caching issue?
