In GST posting Group, is it a must to put GL account at the GST Account and the Input Tax Credit Account in Navision 2018

Hi Community,

I would like to find out, at the GST Posting Group, is it a must to put GL account at the GST Account and the Input Tax Credit Account in Navision 2018?

What happen if we don't put any GL Number, where will the entries flow to?

Josh,

As with most transactions in NAV, if the Posting Group setup is missing a G/L Account, you will get an error telling you that the 'GST Account' for said entry is missing.

Yes, I get what you mean I encounter that as well. But strangely, I notice some of my GST posting groups have hundreds of entries, but my GST account column is empty.

Since I am not a GST expert, I suspect that it is allowed to leave blank.
