Sales order picking - License plate to be auto-suggested on work line

Hi All,

Would like to understand if there is a way to make system auto-suggest license plate on work-line, when a picking work is created for sales order.

Locations are license plate tracked, and one location can hold multiple pallets. As additional information, items are serial controlled, and reservation hierarchy is 'Serial above location'.

User is ready to scan and confirm LP, but require system to initially suggest the LP to pick from.

    Hi Maharaja P,

    There is no way you can automate the selection or suggestion of license plates on mobile device while picking.

    License plate is meant to be scanned always while picking on mobile devices validating physical picking against system suggested picking dimensions. (Industrial domain not a ERP need)

    Also no efforts should be put to even think to customize this in the system for system health.

    If license plates scanning is an issue for you option is not to use license plate tracked locations in the system.

    Thumb rule is you enable license plate controlled locations if there is an advantage from scanning license plates.

    If you want system to auto suggest license plate dont use the feature.

    How we can then handle pallets and boxes stored in a warehouse where LP functionality is deprecated? Use batch numbers instead or there are any other options?
