Anyone know why Request Upload Data will failed?
some of outlets is easilly get the Error 3704, but i got not idea how to solve it.
normally it occur when a lot data want to upload and HQ server will look like hang.
also when try to ping to HQ ip sometimes it will display request Time out.
I am using RMS 2.0 FP2 2.0.100

In FP2 they added index in HQ tables to speed up the 401 data upload, if its still happening
you can try increasing the timeout value in client side and HQ side.
Try increasing the timeout for HQ Client.
Open the Regedit program and go to this key;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Retail Management System\Headquarters\Client\Timeout
Change the Message entry to 3600 for a 1 hour time out
Along with the client side registry entry there is a server side registry entry.
On the HQ Server machine, change:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Retail Management System\Headquarters\Common\Options\CommandTimeout
Change it to 1 hour as well and restart the both system to get the changes in effect.
Then try to connect.
If you trying to update several backdate data then shorten up the period.
I hope this will help..
Note: If you are in version 2.0.100 , its recommended to apply hotfixes after 2.0.100.
