Lead View, company name hidden

I have been customizing our Dynamics CRM 2013 for a few days now and have came across a small problem. When I customize the Lead view, I want to be able to show Company Name as one of the columns. So I clicked to add and searched many time up and down the list but could not see it. After a bit of looking around I found the company name has already been added BUT is hidden as I can see the column in the sorting preferences.

So the question is; how do I make is NOT hidden ?

Thanks.

Create a custom system view with all the columns you need including company name then use the xrmtoolbox  View Layout Replicator to replicate layout from custom view to system view. This worked in my case. This is one time process once you added the company name to the system public view going forward you should be able to add/remove this column from the view.

    Hi Henda,

    Check this link:

I have answered in this post:

    community.dynamics.com/.../301495.aspx

It is a bug and I reported to MS.

    connect.microsoft.com/.../cannot-add-company-name-column-in-existing-standard-view-in-lead-entity

    Summary of resolution:

    1. Create a new custom system view, you can include the company view.

You cannot use save as from current view, you need to create a new one.

    2. Yes, you can use View Layout Replicator to do massive modification for all layout view..

Based on the your newly created view as source.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

Sorry I did not get back to this earlier. I left for vacation and forgot to mark an answer. Thanks for the input.
