Add a custom Dataverse field as a field mapping in Integration Field Mapping

Hello!

I have set up an integration between Business Central and Dynamics 365. The integration is working well, and the data is syncing.

I have added a custom field to my Account table in Dataverse, and would like to sync data from the VAT Registration No. to the new custom field in Dataverse.

I can't find the new field in the "Create new integration mappings" bit, so I am wondering how I go about making that Dataverse field available so that I can sync data between the fields.

I have the same question (0)

Add a custom Dataverse field as a field mapping in Integration Field Mapping

You need to create the same new field in the Business Central Intermediate Table for Dataverse, as shown in the screenshot below.

To do this, extend the table and add the new field. Once added, it will appear in the Integration Field Name lookup during setup.

Also you can refer to https://yzhums.com/49260/ for a detailed explanation how it works.
