Is there a document to describe how does this KB should work? I see a new parameter in mobile worker form to allow adjusting inventory on user location but not sure what to do next.

Hi Rakesh,
Can you create a new question on the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management forum? The original question was based on AX2012 and you are using Dynamics 365.
HI,
I do have similar issue. Where sales line work order is closed ( pick and put is done) by warehouse user named as DG. now physical reserved stock is still showing under user location. How to clean this.
Version : Latest D365 . 9
Hi, Guy:
Yes, the movement does work with this KB when using mobile while inventory is in user location but not physically reserved.
Is there a way to remove physically reserved if work line are shown cancelled (stuck from various of reasons). I always thought physically reserved would be released when work lines are cancelled with correct process but sometimes I do see some work lines show cancelled but inventory still shows physically reserved @ user location ?
Hi Usa Francis,
I didn't meant that it can be used for AX 2012 and what i meant was as I dont have the access to AX 2012 i will try this one which is for Dynamics 365 and adds the same capability.
hi, I checked in LCS, it states KB 4051534 is for Dynamics 365 for Operations and not sure if that works for AX 2012 R3. Thanks.
Yes, before this KB is installed, when user tried to do location override to anything other than stage, the work got locked up. After the KB, I can do location override during put to storage locations (instead of stage) without issues.
Still trying to figure out how to fix transactions that are stuck in user locations in scenarios that worklines were already cancelled by users.
I did notice a strange behavior which I am able to recreate it after this KB is installed and not sure if it is related to this KB. After work is complete (status=loaded status), I go to load and do reverse work and assign inventory to a new location (storage), then go back to the load (status=posted) and release to warehouse (again), now I got an error saying "Load xxx not valid. Please see Release Errors for details." and the load error stating "The load must be assigned a load template". Load template was already assigned at the beginning when load was created and not sure why reverse work created this issue and I need to delete the load and create a new load again.
I have a very recent version of R3, which has the hotfix. It is as described in the text that Sagar posted (except, I find the the new tick box is visible by default).

using the work = movement while inventory is in user location (work is not cancelled), the from loc/LP entry = user location which picks up the combined quantity 8 (example below) for the same item with 2 batches correctly and then press "move LP", WHS asked for the to loc. and so I enter a "to" location (storage profile location) and select ok, then got the error stating "can not move onto a user location".

You can't use this hotfix to move inventory off a user location if that inventory is part of open Work.
I did some testing with your scenario, I think. If the first Pick lines are Complete, but the first Put line is not and you don't wish to proceed, there aren't a great deal of options I can find in the AX Client. If you go to the Load, and do Reverse work -> Leave items at current location, I get Work which is Cancelled at the header, but has Open lines. This looks wrong (broken), and if this happens I cannot move the inventory off the user location, or cancel the Open lines.
You might be better off fixing it via the Hand Held. Instead of cancelling the Put, choose Override location and put the License plate somewhere. This completes the Put line, and then you are able to Cancel the work (even though the second Pick/Put pair is open). This does not cause the LP to get stuck on the User location, and feels cleaner.
Hi usafracis,
This is a AX 2012 R3 hotfix and kindly see the below problem and description from Microsoft for the Hotfix. It points to the same issue as shared by me as we often run into these issues as the work is stuck and you are not able to move inventory from user location.
Microsoft Remarks
Problem
"In cases where work gets stuck on the
user location, you currently do not have a good way to move the inventory back
to a regular picking location from the user location, as moving goods in/out of
user locations is not allowed for users.
However,
it still happens that work gets stuck quite often, so you need a way to allow
certain workers to be able to move such inventory.
Description:
The changes in the hotfix add a configuration flag in the Worker form, so that it allows you to move the inventory out of the user location.
The configuration option is not visible by default, and can only be added through personalization/extension to the form by an administrator.
I am in process to install the same hotfix for Dynamics 365 which is
KB 4051534Add capability to move inventory from a user location for admins/superworkers
Will share the working for the same after my test.
That's actually what I first thought but it didn't work. So, using the work = movement while inventory is in user location (work is not cancelled), the from loc/LP entry = user location which picks up the combined quantity 8 (example below) for the same item with 2 batches correctly and then press "move LP", WHS asked for the to loc. and so I enter a "to" location (storage profile location) and select ok, then got the error stating "can not move onto a user location".
Here is the background of the test example that I was trying to test;
picked item A qty 1
picked item B qty 7
before doing put to "stage", user decided to start it again due to various of operation reasons or errors:
So, user wants to move it back to storage profile locations and cancel this work. Use can't cancel the work at this stage since WHS would give out an error saying "the last closed work line must be put" (at least this is how is configured but for some reason sometimes some users were able to pick some and cancel line work lines and cancelled the work before the "put to stage" step which puzzles me- another mystery to be sorted out).
Oh, sorry, I should add that once you have given a Work user the permission to 'Allow adjusting inventory on User location', you should use a mobile device menu item with a Work creation process = Movement to actually move the inventory off of the User location.
