Active Views is not showing related entity column info

Hi,

There are 2 custom entities as "Quotation" and "Products". On the Quotation entity sub-grid created to products entity.

After adding multiple products on the quotation, On the system views tried adding additional column from related entity "Products" but the data is not showing on the quotation system view.

Also have created 1:N relationship between Products to Quotation but no luck.

Please help.

    Is "Product lookup" has value in Quote?

    You will get values in view if lookup has value.

    Yes product lookup has Quote ID, it get auto pick.

    Are you showing view of Quote or product entity.

    If it is quote then you have to have product lookup on quote and it has product id.

    I am showing view of Quote and product lookup already created on the quote, but i can select only 1 product ID on the quote, what if there are multiple items ?

    Hi Syed,

    If you have 1:N relationship between Quote & Products then you can have a view on Product entity which can display product field and related lookup field but you cannot have a view on Quote entity to display the fields from Quote & related Products. This is not possible.

    The reason is because CRM cannot display duplicate values i.e.

    Q1, P1,

    Q1, P2

    Q1, P3

    In a view you can only show fields from a related lookup fields.

    Thanks for the clarification, i can see data on products with quote id.

    Reason why i am trying to populating data, working on fetchxml query.

    I want these type of query for SSRS report, On the Quote entitty, user need to create report
