    Hi Venkat,

Skip staging works only for export flows.

Try to add "Skip staging" through personalization to "Selected entities" grid in a data project page and double-check if the checkbox is really enabled.

Also, you need to switch "Data project" page to "Enhanced view" if you haven't done this already.

    Hi Sergei,

I have tried with export and found that even though skipstaging is enabled, records are exported to staging.I have checked in enhanced view as well. Could  you please share your thoughts on this.

    Regards

    Hi,

Are you trying to export standard or custom entity?

    Hi Sergei,

I am trying with Custom Entity. I just tried with standard entity now and found that it is working fine for standard entity. Could you please share your thoughts if i am missing any thing on custom entity.

    RE: SkipStaging Data Entity

    Hi Venkat,

Skip staging could not work in next cases (at least I know only these):

    1. You have virtual or container field in the entity

    2. Entity is composite

    3. PostLoad is overridden

Thanks Sergei,I just removed the postLoad and now skipstaging is working as expected. Still not sure the real purpose of skipstaging during export :)

    RE: SkipStaging Data Entity

    Hi Venkat,

Skip staging allows you to improve export performance because you skip the part when data is exported to staging table (1-by-1 record insert) and only after export happens. Also, it prevents the staging table from growing too fast.
