    Hi Anwar,

    You can do one thing that hide the Close as lost Opportunity OOB ribbon button and add one custom ribbon button which will work same as Close as Lost opportunity button as per your conditions

    Hope this will helps.

    Thanks,
    Sam

    You can create real time workflow which should start on change of status.

    Check the condition: if field does not contain data  AND Opportunity status = Lost  then

    stop workflow with cancel. (You can put comments in properties of stop workflow.)

    Hope you got the idea how to do the same.

    Regards,

    Rutul

    Hi anwar there are  couple ways you can do this, one is by using the ribbon workbench to hide the button unless a value is populated;

    ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../121427-enable-disable-a-ribbon-button-dynamically-based-o

    Using Ribbon Workbench Right click the  close as won button and Right Click Customise Command

    Open the new  command added and Right Click edit the EnableRules  and add the custom enable rule

    Hope that helps
