problem with production order

Hello all

I have a production order when try to post a picking list i get this error

Inventory dimension Batch number is a primary input/output dimension and must consequently be specified.

any idea ?

Open the lines of the un-posted picking list and find the row with a yellow exclamation point, that row is missing its batch number. Either do a Inventory -> Dimension display -> tick on Batch to show batch on the overview tab, or go to the Inventory Dimensions Tab for that row, and select a valid batch number.

Yes... You need to specify the batch number for the tracked product in the picking list.

Are you aware what product is tracked? If a product is marked to be tracked, it will ask for tracking number for all transactions. Well... If you haven't allowed for them to be empty in the tracking dimension setup.

Can you post a screenshot of your picking list? If you can enter a batch number in the batch column, the component is batch tracked.

Then could refer to the item being reported as finished then...
Long shot, but have you added a batch number to the production order it self?

According to the message it is the picking list item. Is the batch number available? Is it picked from the dropdown list or put into the field manually?
