Autofill filter on Journal Lines when the report request page is opened

Posted on by 12
Hi community! I trying to prevent user typos when generating reports by autofilling the filter fields in the report request page.

SelectedLine is a journal line record.

I want to autofill the Document No. and Posting Date fields also but only the Journal Template Name , Journal Batch Name and Line No. are filled.

I know that with the Line No. filtered,  that the user will be able to generate the correct report. However, I was curious if autofilling other fields would be possible.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    Try applying a filter on the SelectedLine before running the report like

    SelectedLine.Setfilter("Document No.", YourValue);
    SelectedLine.Setfilter("Posting Date", YourValue);
