I am trying to add notes in GP2015 in the Vendor Maintenance window and the Item Maintenance window. When i click the notes button nothing happens.
We just upgraded from GP10 and was able to do this before. I gave a lesson user the same security roles that i have and was able to access the notes by clicking the notes button.

What ended up working for me is when I clicked on the notes icon I then pressed <ALT>+<Spacebar> then <X> which made the Notes page full screen on my main screen. Then from there i just resized it.
Are you using a terminal server or Citrix?
This has happened to a couple of users in the past here. We use Citrix so many users are accessing the notes. The default note settings as to where the note window pops up is stored in the Dex.ini file. I followed the below article and was able to get it back and working again for the users.

Another thing I've seen is that the note windows open minimized. By clicking on the GP icon on the task bar, you can see that the note window is open and I'll need to right click on the particular window and choose Maximize which will bring the window back in to view.
Just had this come up. So it seems that the notes are opening, but not appearing on my screen.
