Does GP 2013 support ISO 20022 XML pain.001.001.03?

Posted on by

I understand that .01 was supported as of GP 10,  but I can't find any other references to later versions.

I set up version 2 in GP 2013 R2, not version 3. If you want to do version 3, you need to ask Microsoft to customized the coding which costs about $3000.

    Thanks.

Peter I have a client that Is on GP 2013 R2 and also uses Nolan Business Solutions Electronic Payments for their UK office. The also are required to produce XML pain.001.001.03 files.

Do you have any suggestions or is it possible to share you setup information if I give you my email.

Thank you any help is appreciated.

    Thank you Tom.
Finally, I successfully set up version 2 in GP 2013. Because our bank doesn't support version 1 any more.

I am producing pain.001.001.03 formats for couple of our sites using GP 2013 sp2 and Nolans Electronic Payments (http://www.nolanbusinesssolutions.co.uk/uk/nolan-product/microsoft-dynamics-gp-software/electronic-payments). However, even though we have used this product for many years, I did not find creating the pain.001.001.03 formats particularly easy or straightforward.

Incidentally, the pain formats tend to be largely verbose XML padding. The amount of variable information is typically small meaning that there is the potential to download just the variable information and use Excel (or similar) to add in the XML padding.

    Hi Sissi,

Unfortunately, as I had mentioned previously Dynamics GP only supports Version 1.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.

Does anyone know if this was resolved?  BOA doesn't accept version 1 anymore and will only accept version 2 and 3.  We are currently using Great Plains 2013R2

    Hi Charles!

I have actually seen this question come up in a few different cases in the past. Unfortunately only Version 1 of the ISO 20022 format is currently available in Microsoft Dynamics GP. Unfortunately, Version 2 or Version 3 are not available at this time and would be considered a product enhancement. If you would like to see the newer versions of this format added to Microsoft Dynamics GP in the future, please click on the link below and enter/vote on a product suggestion and add any comments to this can be reviewed and considered for a future release.

Another possible option would be to have an Advisory Service created with us here at Microsoft for a customization to accomplish what you are looking for.

If you do create a product suggestion I would recommend replying back here with the link to it so it will get more votes. The more votes the product suggestion receives the more it is looked at to be added by development.

I do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

I would be surprised if GP 2013 R2 did not support this standard, but the safest bet would be to call Support community.dynamics.com/.../support.aspx
