Dear Members,

Is there any possibility / functionality that exist by default, where I can see the purchase price history of an item. Consider that this happens when an item is purchased from many vendors. I would like to see the purchase price of that item individually vendor wise. As far as I know now, the last purchase price of the item get's updated in the purchase price in the released product.

In simple terms, I wish to see the item's purchase history i.e. item brought from which vendor at what price. Is there any in built functionality like reports, views that would help me to meet my requirement ?

Hello M Saravanan,

You might consider the following solution.

1. Open the form 'Open purchase order lines'

2. Add the column 'Unit price'.

3. Remove the filter 'Line status' in order to see also the invoiced purchase order lines.

Than you can you see exactly what has been purchased in combination with the unit price and vendor.

If you want to record price history, you need to use Trade agreements. You can set expiry dates old prices when they are superseded (and you would need to do this, rather than deleting old trade agreements).
