I am trying to open an email dialog along with a custom email template so that when user clicks on any option from drop-down, it will open an email dialog with a specific custom template. I was able to open an email dialog with a custom template, but the problem is with the recipient's email address not getting automatically into receipient TO field. even if I enter manually the recipient email address, saying, "The requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it.". its happeing because of regarding object not automatically getting in the field but if i open the email from the timeline + section then its working fine. Is there any way we could dynamically get the recipient email address and Regarding object (aaplication ID )along with an email dialog and a custom template when opeing from the drop-down on change event? As you can see in the below screen shot no application Id in the Regarding field. how to get the regarding object?
