Hi All,
I have searched but cannot seem to find anything on an issue I am having. I must be blind though as I am sure it has come up before now. My client is set up to sell items tax exclusive. When the item gets the tax added at the end though, the price of the items are completely random e.g. €9.36 . Is there a way to round prices inclusive of tax in a tax exclusive set up? The tax rate is 23% for all items
Kindest regards and many thanks for any ideas.
Sincerely,
Margaret

Hello Margret,
Thank you for your question.
The prices are not random, they are based off of the item prices multiplied by the 23% tax.
To get RMS to round to the nearest increment (i.e. the nearest $/€0.05 if you do not use pennies) is to go to Store Operations Manager | Database | Tenders and into the properties of the tenders you have set up and on the General tab, click the Denominations... button and set up each denomination for that tender type.
You will need to do to this for all tender types where RMS should be rounding this way. You will need to check with local laws concerning non-cash tender types to make sure that you are not violating any laws that do not allow such rounding with checks, electronic (Credit and Debit) or other tenders.
Thank you,
