How do you hide a ledger account from some users e.g. payroll accounts?

I need to hide payroll ledger accounts from some users. Is there a way of doing that?

(Dynamics AX 2009)

For record level security, you would again require user group as securities only apply on user groups. Create a user group apply record level security on that user group then make the required user member of this newly created group and the members of this group won't be able to see the records of the ledger you want to hide.

If you need to only hide some ledger accounts and not others, use record level security. If you don't want users to access ledger accounts at all, use the standard permission tree to set security for a certain user group(s).
