I am integrating dynamics with an external application which will push HTTP POST/GET message to a service endpoint. My use case is that i would have to expose this service in dynamics CRM and have a listener which will listen to this endpoint and execute some action in dynamics.
Is it possible to do so in dynamics?

Depending on your app, you could write to CRM. Then create a workflow to fire on create of new record in CRM. Example, create an entity "someAppTransaction" your service writes to that entity, then your workflow fires on create of someTransaction record.
