Hello Everybody,

We would like to count the number of lines shipped on the initial shipment of an order versus the amount of lines ordered.

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this. We are on GP10.

Thank you,

Maria.

In the sales line items smartlist, you can get these values by adding the columns like QTY Invoiced, QTY ordered, QTY remaining and calculate the amount values based on the unit price..

    Hope this helps!!!

There are a variety of columns to consider:

    • Quantity Ordered
    • Quantity to order
    • Quantity Remaining
    • Quantity Returned
    • Quantity to back order
    • Quantity to Invoice

And for the price, there is existing columns such as the "remaining price"

In addition to all suggestions given above, I'd suggest to look into the field "Quantity Fulfilled". This field will have the quantity ONLY if you have made allocations and fulfilled for delivery. Logically "shipped".

If this field is ZERO, then the line is yet to be shipped. Technically. So you can have a comparison between lines that are "fulfilled" and lines that are not.

Another scenario: partial delivery of a particular line item. In that case, you got to see if "Quantity Ordered" is more than "Quantity Fulfilled". If so, that line item is yet to be delivered "completely".

    Hope that helps.
