(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi,

I get the following error trying to sign in as admin or user at my brand new out of the box installation of Microsoft Dynamics Server 2015 Roleup 1 on Azure.
On:
Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter with SQL Server 2014 SP2 Enterpris

Error Message:
8345.error.png

The specified organisation is disabled.
Troubleshooting steps so far:
Installed in Hyper-V = Runs without error
Installed in Oracle Virtual Box = Runs without error

In Azure with the error upgraded Virtual Hardware = Faster but still same error
Checked Services = All up and running including SQL / Reporting services
Checked AD Users and Service Accounts all like recommended
Checked in IE to ask for User Authentication in Local Lan and tried Administrator (Installing User and RDP connection user)
Tried to add new User with Admin rights in Organisation OU
Tired to use system user account
Tried in Chrome instead of IE

Tried to repair installation
Tried to re-install with different service user account
Checked all groups and user belonging user accounts and compare to working installation on Hyper-V
Tried to update and reboot a couple of times.

No idea why?

RE: Azure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 installation fails

Problem is fixed but not explained. I did create a new organisation next to the still pending one. This one does work strangely enough even it runs on the same server, same SQL, same user and so on. The only logical explanation I do have is that azure hosting has: performance issues which do not occur all the time. When installing the server wizard got partly inattentive. After upgrading the virtual hardware the performance got better. But server was rebooting. On my local virtualisation software Hyper V SSD notebook and Oracle Virtual Box the CRM Server does run from beginning with less Processor and RAM without issues. Not sure if I can recommend Azure for development or production. This exercise did cost me 4-5 hours of intense research and a delay of 2 days with my development and trainings project. With Amazon AWS I never had issues like this with Windows and Linux servers. Tough I never have used Dynamics CRM Server bevor. To give some credit in direction of Microsoft the recommended hardware specifications are on physical hardware much higher then the one I did you for all three of my virtual environments. Tough I have been over the minimum requirements. All in all a typical Microsoft experience being now over 20 years a Microsoft technology engineer. Thanks everyone for helping and all I hope this post can help anyone who gets this standard and hard to read error message. Sorry for my partly incorrect English I am not a native speaker.

  • RE: Azure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 installation fails

    Organizations however says Pending Status?

  • RE: Azure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 installation fails

    Same error with full name:

    dynamicscrm2015.crm2015.local/.../main.aspx

  • RE: Azure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 installation fails

Organisation name is CRM2015 Not sure if I have to use the full name instead for the URL? But seems a bit strange.

  • RE: Azure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 installation fails

Sorry I forget this to add of course I did check the deployment manager first and it saying all good see screen grab here plus URL I use for accessing the to long in.

    URL:
    http://dynamicscrm2015/crm2015/main.aspx

Will enable tracing tomorrow as quite late at my location thanks for the tip.
    Registry key setting really? :-)

RE: Azure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 installation fails

The error from the MSCRMMonitoringServerRole isn't the main cause here, so granting extra rights to the CRM2015\crmsvr account probably won't make a difference.

The error states the organisation is disabled. You can view the organisations and their statuses in CRM Deployment Manager. If the organisation is disabled, try enabling it in CRM Deployment Manager, and if that fails, you should get a useful error. Note also there's a question of which organisation you access. If you don't specify the organisation in the url, then it will be the user's default organisation. If you installed CRM with a dummy organisation, then imported a separate organisation and disabled the dummy organisation, then the installation user's default organisation will be the dummy one.

If the organisation is enabled in CRM Deployment Manager, then enable tracing to see if you get a more useful error
