Hi,
I tried to modify a business rule that used to work before the modification attempt. This business rule simply checks the value of Field_1 which can have one of two values "Yes or No" then sets Field_2 as "Business required", else: set Field_2 as "Business not required".
After the modification attempt, the business rule simply didn't work anymore, no visible errors or messages. I tried to delete it and re-create it, still doesn't work.
When I try the same business rule with another yes/no field "let's say Field_3", it works perfectly fine, Field_2 gets the desired red asterisk.
I tried clearing the browser cash, re-create this business rule by another admin user, even tried to import it from a twin CRM in which it works..
What would you check/do if you were in my place?

I had the same problem with a field on the Lead or Inbound Interest, we are using Reach and Apply from Anthology based on the Dynamics platform.
My solution was to go to the Lead (Inbound Interest) Fields and check if the field that I want to be affected by the business rule was in the solution. It wasn't so I import the subcomponent. After that, I published the solution and create a new Business Rule and start working
Hope this helps you.
Kind Regards
That did the trick! There were Fields missing on the Form
Worked like a charm, thanks!
I was trying to add an error message to warn the user that a field will have a default value and will not be left empty.
Your second guess was the correct one.
There was another field in the form which had a similar name. As I changed its value in the testing phase, nothing happens. (Which is of course the correct result but I couldn't see it).
I've had issues previously where a business rule doesn't work. In all of those cases, one of the fields in the criteria wasn't on the form. If any fields in the Business Rule aren't on the form, the whole Business Rule won't run.
Hi Hikmat,
What were trying to modify in the business rule?
Thank you.
Field_1 and Field_3.
What is the data type?
Could this be something simple.. scope? Is it enabled for the form you are testing?
Verify that the check condition is correct.
OR
The field which you are using in the condition. Is that the correct one as another field might also be using the same display name.
OR
If still not working then create a new two option field and try the rule with the new field and later delete the old one
