Why can't I reply to a response?

Why can't I reply to a response in the Dynamics 365 Community? It would be helpful if I could reply to a response in order to better understand what a suggested answer means. Without being able to reply to responses asking questions becomes almost useless.

I also get this silly error sometimes, you should leave a comment tomorrow. Relax by space waves now

Are you able to see "Reply to the post" as in the below screenshot?
