AX Client and 4K Ultra HD screen

Hi,

Has anyone any experience to share running the AX client (R3CU8) on a laptop with a 4K ultra HD screen?

It throws huge font to the left navigation pane, the fact panes and the footer. Also strange is a remote desktop session running on a linked monitor (normal HD resolution) is also affected.

Various resets with different resolutions, Windows settings, font sizes, but none seem to find a complete solution.

Grateful if anyone can share experience...

its a resolutions problem on your lapi, try with another laptop. if not,contact your support team

I have written about AX font sizes recently, but not tried it on a 4K screen:

I've been meaning to write about it again, because a developer in Lithuania wrote me a message about Windows functionality called "Disable display scaling on high dpi settings" which I find makes a difference.

You can set it on the shortcut to the AX client:

Thanks Guy, good tip - checking the scaling option has made it 90% better. There's still a couple of minor icons that don't quite render properly but we can work with it. Many thanks.

Hey guys:

Another "good" fix is to simply switch AX legal entities once you open the application and then switch back. AX will improve the size rending on its own. The the footer remains large but the rest of the fonts are "normal" with the exception of main account selection drop downs.
