3D object scale change on import

I import a STL file as my custom 3D model to PC app. But it's become too large when I try to use it in Hololens app.

It about 15mm long when I measure it on CAD. But it become bigger than a 3m long table then I try to place it to the step, that I must pinch the Scale Hologram control two or three times to see the whole hologram.

I check the file from the Guides model-driven app. It's seems that Guides has automatically conversion the STL file to a GLB file. I download the GLB file form Guides model-driven app. And find the scale of model on GLB file is difference from in STL file (about 40 times bigger?).

I guess there may be some problem on conversion, but I don’t know how to solve it. And it will be nice if it can be solved without use other software that need extra license like Unity.

    Hi Qingmeng

Guides sets the scale for all 1 meter - so your 15mm model is being enlarged to meters. If you convert your source model to meters and then export it should appear as expected in Guides.

See the blue call out box on this page for further detail: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/3d-content-guidelines/optimize-models
