When running the Trial Balance Detail/Summary report (Report ID 10021) it always carries over to a second page, even though it has plenty of room to fit it all on one page. Any idea on how to get this all onto 1 page? I have gone through the Print Layout, Page setup setting and no luck.
The only way I can get it to go on one page is by printing it to excel and I can print from there and it fits on one page or after I print to excel save it as a pdf and that works as well. My boss wants to be able to just print from the print preview in D365 (On-Prem btw) and have it only be on one page.
Any thoughts on how to accomplish this would be great! I did go to report layout and then go to custom layouts > New > Created a copy version of Report ID 10021 and tried editing the report that way, but it still always prints out two pages.
Based on the design of the report I get the sense we’re rolling over certain values based on the layout. We’ve extended the width of the report too close to the right edge of the page which I’ve seen cause this type of behavior. RDLC and specifically the way our dataset is created and passed to the report layout for these footer fields looks like it's rolling over. I would recommend testing by decreasing the width (and possibly the height of the report layout if necessary) bringing those few fields close the edges (start with those on the right edge) towards the center of the report. Basically, leave more blank space around the edges to see if that’s not the problem here.
