Updating Journeys

When you update a journey, are people automatically transferred over to the same step in the new journey? or they progress down the old version of the journey?

    from my experiences and test, contacts who are already in the journey will progress the old version. Only contacts that are newly added to the journey will also proceed in the newer version.

    Hi,
     
    After analyzing your needs and conducting tests (RTM MKT only) we have come to the following conclusions.
     
    1. If the segment members remain the same and only update the version of the /journey/, the old version of the journey will change to /complete/ status but the segment members will still execute the old version of the /journey/.


    2. If the segment members are updated and the version of /journey/ is also updated, the newly added users will execute the new journey and the original users will still execute the old journey.
